Office Tour

When you and your pet first arrive, you will be met by our client service representative staff in our reception area.

A technician or veterinary assistant will take your pet to our Intake area for triage. Your pet will undergo triage to determine the severity of their immediate health risk.

In the case of pets experiencing an immediate and severe, life threatening emergency, they may be taken directly to our STAT triage room.

CPVETS prioritizes patients based on severity of condition. This means that you may have a wait. We have a spacious waiting area and beverage station to keep you comfortable during your wait time.

Following triage, you will be taken into one of our consultation rooms where a thorough medical history will be obtained by a technician or veterinary assistant. Then you will speak with a veterinarian to discuss their physical examination findings and recommendations for your pet.

Laboratory tests may be indicated and will be performed in our in-house facilities. These include routine organ function and whole blood screening. We are able to perform blood typing, coagulation studies, and blood transfusions. Our in-house laboratory capabilities include immediate screening for certain infectious diseases common to our area, and stabilization of critical cases is augmented by stat electrolyte testing.

If your pet needs to be admitted, they will be moved to our ICU, which features separate areas for large dogs, smaller dogs, and cats.
