Preventive Measures Regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic- March 20, 2020

Being an emergency veterinary hospital, we are aware of the importance of remaining open during this pandemic. CPVETS is open and will continue to provide emergency services for your pets at this time. We also recognize the importance of limiting direct contact between clients and staff.

Therefore, the following measures have been put in place for the safety of all:

If possible, please call ahead of arrival to let us know about your emergency and so we can collect information from you.
Upon arrival, please remain in your vehicle and call us from the parking lot. We will check you in as soon as possible from outside the hospital.
We will come to your vehicle to collect your pet and any written notes/questions you may want to share with us. All other communication will be completed by phone while you wait in your vehicle.
If you are feeling ill or may be at risk of exposure to coronavirus, please designate someone who is healthy to transport your pet to the hospital and act as an authorized agent on your behalf.
We will do our best to coordinate all aspects of your visit from outside the hospital, including providing discharge instructions and taking payments. Please be prepared to pay by phone with a credit card. Care Credit credit card and cash payments will also be accepted. Check payments will NOT be accepted at this time.

CPVETS is committed to the health and safety of your pets, as well as your health and the public health of our community. Thank you for your cooperation. We do ask for your understanding as we implement these new procedures. Please feel free to call with questions. Our phone lines will be busier than usual, so your patience is appreciated.
